Emma Thompson - Principium

Emma is an event manager for Organise This sustainable event management company. She is also company secretary for a not-for-profit sustainability project called Positive Impact, which has been built to teach the event industry about the benefits of implementing sustainability.

She has been trained in sustainability and BS 8901 and was recently responsible for managing and implementing BS 8901 and sustainability for the MPI 2008 European Meetings and Events Conference in April. The management system built for this event was the first ever to fully comply with BS 8901 through an external certification process.

When not at work, Emma enjoys playing sports, going to the theatre and travelling. She is also a volunteer for the Red Cross fundraising team in her home town.
